Posting Portfolio Items

It’s really great practice for you to be regularly posting portfolio items. If you want to post updated images to your portfolio, there are a few steps you will follow.

  1. First, you will add your items to a new “Blog” post. This will be what people see, so just make sure they look good together and are in a nice order! While it can be nice to a have a full page of portfolio items, as a florist, you are getting so many photos from so many different sources that the images can feel disjointed. In order to show potential clients the most aesthetic version of your work, it will be nice to group like with like, and them direct them to your instagram to see more up to date, daily bouquets!

  2. When you finalize your blog post, but sure to select a vertical image as your cover photo & title correctly! This will matter on the “Work” page.

  3. Once your blog post is finished, you will go to the “Work” page, and you will add a “Image Overlay” block under the last ones (whichever is shorter on the page). You will then add the title of the blog post as the title of the image (you must click directly on the title portion to add this). Then, under “edit,” select design, and scroll down to wear it says “image link.” You will then need to select “on image.” This will give you a spot to insert a link. From here, you will need to insert the link to your blog post.
